Skate 3 browser guides
Five guides, each about one problem people actually hit with the Skate 3 browser port. Every fact in them is read from the port's own client rather than from someone else's summary of it, so each claim can be re-checked when the project ships an update.
Verified against client build 8e0af1091240 on 2026-10-11. New
pages are added here first and linked from the homepage the day they pass a build check.

Read guideHow these guides are made
The browser port is a single-page app with no documentation of its own — its menus, error messages and settings live inside the client code it ships. So instead of paraphrasing other people's write-ups, we read that client directly and quote what it says.
- skate.aaddpp.lol — the port itself (client scripts: main.js, frontend.js, host.js, touch.js, net.js)
- SK8-ENGINE/skate-3-rust-engine — the open-source engine the port compiles to the web
What we checked
- The client's own wording for every menu, error and setting we quote.
- The build hash in the script URL, so an update is detectable.
- The public game-data pack's real size and headers, by measuring them.
What we have not tested
- Frame rates across hardware. We publish no performance numbers we have not measured.
- Whether the project's own server is up right now, or where else its data is hosted.
- Every phone, Chromebook and GPU. Where we have not tested one, the guide says so.
