Cookies and local storage
What gets stored in your browser when you read this site, who puts it there, and how to get rid of it. This page is the companion to the privacy policy.

In short
- We set no cookies ourselves. There are no first-party cookies on this site.
- Our analytics keeps a random session identifier in your browser's local storage. Local storage is not a cookie and is not sent with requests.
- The advertising on every page is served by Adsterra, which sets its own cookies and identifiers.
Cookies and local storage, briefly
A cookie is a small piece of text a site asks your browser to store and to send back with later requests — including, for third-party cookies, requests made by someone else's script running inside the page. Local storage is a similar store that stays in your browser and is never attached to network requests, so it is invisible to the server unless a script reads it and sends it on. Both can be cleared from your browser's settings.
What this site stores
- Strictly necessary cookies
- None. This site sets no first-party cookies at all.
- Analytics (local storage) — set by us
- A randomly generated session identifier, so one visit is counted once. Stored by Rybbit, which runs on our own server: no cookies, no cross-site tracking, nothing shared with anyone.
- Advertising cookies — set by Adsterra
- Choosing which ad to show, limiting how often you see it, and measuring whether it was shown or clicked. These are third-party cookies set by the ad network and the advertisers behind it, and they are the reason you see the "Advertisement" slots at all.
Advertising identifiers
The ad scripts create a set of identifiers when a page loads. When we inspected the exact scripts this site uses, these were the names they contained:
_eabb_eabid_eabk_earid_earpk_eeabb_epid_eppk_esbpk_esid_iops_irabc__mfg_ck__
Treat that list as a snapshot, not a contract: an ad network changes its identifiers, lifetimes and vendors without notice, and the lifetime of each one is decided by Adsterra, not by us. The point of listing them is that you can search your own browser's storage and see exactly what is there.
Your choices
You do not need an account or a settings panel to control any of this. Everything below works from your browser:
- Block or delete cookies. Every major browser lets you block third-party cookies, clear site data on exit, or clear it now (usually under Settings → Privacy). This removes the advertising identifiers described above.
- Use a private window for a one-off visit; cookies and local storage are discarded when you close it.
- Send a Global Privacy Control signal. GPC is a browser setting or extension that tells sites not to share your data. The ad scripts on this site are designed to check for it before setting cookies. The same applies to the "Do Not Track"-style controls your browser exposes.
- Opt out of interest-based advertising at industry level: optout.aboutads.info, optout.networkadvertising.org, or in the EU youronlinechoices.com. On mobile you can also reset or limit your advertising ID in the system settings.
- Clear everything for this site. In your browser's site-data settings,
delete storage for
skate3browser.netand for the ad network's domains.
If you block them
The site keeps working. The guides, the tables and the links are plain HTML and do not depend on any of this. You will still see advertising, but it will be less relevant to you, and some ad slots may stay empty.
Changes
If what we store changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it, and the privacy policy is updated at the same time.
